Take Action

The draft ordinance rezones 184 acres of farmland/residential property into an Industrial Zone.  Together with the 252 acre former Pennsy quarry property, this creates a 434 acre Data Center Campus!

The 252 acre former quarry parcel would easily satisfy the Township's requirement to allow for a data center use.

THE TOWNSHIP DOES NOT NEED TO ALLOW 400+ ACRES TO BECOME A DATA CENTER CAMPUS.

Data centers can be constructed on as little as 30 acres.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

  1. Email or write letters to the Township to let them know you want the 184 residential acres removed from the overlay
  2. Attend the Upcoming Planning Commission (June 2nd) and Board of Supervisors Meetings (June 9th and June 23rd)
  3. Share your concerns during public comment at these meetings (every resident is allowed 3 minutes to speak)
  4.  Spread the word!  The data center will impact everyone by raising electric rates, impacting water supply, continuous noise, thermal impacts, and harming nature and the beauty of this area.
